Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kevio available on Android?

Kevio is currently available exclusively for iPhone on iOS 16 and later. An Android version is not planned at this time, but we're listening to demand.

Is the app free?

Kevio is free to download and free to use for one person: track up to 5 medicines with full reminders, plus water tracking, at no cost. To add more medicines, manage family profiles, or track Tests & Events, upgrade to the affordable Kevio Pro.

What does Kevio Pro include?

Pro removes the 5-medicine limit, unlocks family profiles for up to 10 members, and adds Tests & Events for tracking blood work, doctor visits, and prescription refills. Everything you already tracked in the free version carries over when you upgrade.

My existing data disappeared after an update. What happened?

This is very rare and we take it seriously. Your data is stored locally on your device and should persist across updates. If you experience data loss after an update, please contact us immediately via with your iOS version. In most cases we can help you recover it.

How do I add a medicine?

From the Home screen, tap the purple + button at the bottom of the screen, or go to the Medicines tab and tap the + button in the top right. Select the medicine type, enter the name, dosage, and set your schedule. Tap Save and you're done.

Can I track medicines for my whole family?

Yes, with Kevio Pro. Pro supports up to 10 family member profiles. Tap the profile strip at the top of the Home or Medicines screen to switch between members. Each person has their own separate schedule, history, and notifications. The free version covers one person.

How do reminders work?

When you add a medicine with a schedule, Kevio automatically schedules iOS local notifications for each dose. You can mark doses taken, snooze, or skip directly from the notification without opening the app. A follow-up reminder fires a few minutes later if a dose goes unmarked. The delay is configurable in Settings.

What is the snooze feature?

Snoozing delays the reminder for a configurable duration (default 30 minutes). Use it when you're not able to take your medicine right now but want to be reminded again shortly. You can change the snooze duration in Settings → Reminders → Default Snooze.

How does refill tracking work?

When adding or editing a medicine, you can enter the current stock on hand and a low-stock threshold. Kevio deducts doses automatically as you mark them taken and estimates how many days of supply remain. When stock is low, the Alerts bell on the home screen glows orange or red and you'll receive a refill notification at a time you choose in Settings.

How do I set up water intake tracking?

Go to the Home screen and tap the Water card. If not yet set up, tap it to add a water reminder. Set your daily glass target and the interval between reminders (e.g., every 2 hours). The home screen card shows your live progress and resets automatically at midnight each day.

What are Tests & Events?

Tests and Events lets you log upcoming health appointments alongside your daily medicines: doctor visits, blood tests, prescription refills, and progress reviews. You can set a repeat cycle so recurring appointments reschedule themselves. Tap the flask icon on the Home screen to access it. Tests & Events is part of Kevio Pro.

How do I set up the home screen widget?

Long-press your iPhone home screen, tap the + button, search for "Kevio", and add the widget. The widget shows your next scheduled dose and updates automatically throughout the day. Make sure notifications are enabled in Kevio's Settings for the widget to stay accurate.

Does Kevio sync across multiple devices?

Not yet. Your data is stored locally on your device. iCloud sync is planned for a future release and will be entirely opt-in. We'll announce it when it's ready.

Is my health data private?

Absolutely. All data (medicines, schedules, logs, and profiles) is stored 100% on your device. Kevio has no servers, requires no account, and collects no personal information whatsoever. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I reset all data?

Go to Settings (the gear icon in the tab bar) and scroll to the Data section. Tap "Reset All Data". You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted. Note: this action cannot be undone.
